Shabbat, 7 May 2016

I got up a little late this morning and so didn't go out for a walk.

I finished the 1st week of my online class on regression, the 2nd course in the Machine Learning specialization sequence, today. It was really quite fun.

I had my now-traditional scrambled eggs with rice, plus a salad, for lunch at home.

In the late afternoon, I enjoyed my regular chat with David's sister in Ohio.

After that, I went out for a long walk on Sheshet HaYamim Avenue to the far side of Shakhamon and back on Harim Road. I took quite a few photos, many of them views of Aqaba just before dusk. Today's pic of the day is one of them (you can see most of the other pictures I took on Facebook):

On my walk, I saw 2 jetliner flying over Sinai, around the southern tip of Israel, and then heading northeast over Jordan.

I walked 6.77 kilometers today.
