Monday, 16 May 2016

Having gone to bed a bit late last night, I also got up late this morning.

I taught only 3 units of Berlitz lessons today, probably mostly due to the Pentecost holiday in most of Europe today: 9:00-9:45 (a Polish group) and 7:00-8:30 (a German-speaking Swiss student who will soon be moving to Australia for his work).

After my morning class, I took the bus down to buy most cat food for Pascal, and I also came back by bus. It was MUCH too hot today to walk very far at all, especially in the sun.

I watched video lectures for week 3 of my online class on regression. They're really getting into the nuts and bolts of it all now, and it's quite interesting.

I also began playing some music on the harpsichord and piano (well, it's actually just one instrument, but that's another advantage of the electronic version). I'm going to start practicing to improve the accuracy of my playing in preparation to do a recital for WIZO, probably after the summer.

Before my evening lesson, I walked up to the 2nd nearest market to do some grocery shopping. I had some items that I really needed to get.

Just before my evening lesson, I snapped today's pic of the day, Pascal relaxing on the table in front of the microwave and next to my desk. You can see part of the screen of my computer all ready to begin the lesson. In fact, he actually got up and let before the lesson began:

I walked a total of only 1.46 kilometers today.
