I got up early this morning. First, I let Pascal go outside for a while and sat there with him (he is NEVER allowed out by himself!). Then, I made him go back inside and I went out for a walk for nearly an hour. I snapped several pictures, including today's pic of the day, the sun rising over the Jordanian mountains:
I took the bus both to and from today's English speakers' meeting at WIZO because of the heat. The program was given by one of our members, telling us about a couple of very interesting exhibits currently at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. One of them is all about accumulating evidence of the Egyptian presence in Canaan (roughly, today's Israel) in ancient times. The other is about the Roman emperor, Hadrian.
After the meeting, I walked the short distance up to the Shufersal near WIZO and bought a few items before returning home (by bus).
I had 4 whole beets and 2 sandwiches with veggie burgers, cheese, tomato, Dijon mustard, and mayonnaise for lunch at home today.
I taught 7 units of Berlitz lessons: 2:45-3:30, 3:30-5:00, 5:00-6:30, and 7:00-8:30.
I walked a total of 5.02 kilometers today.
