I got up a bit late this morning after having gotten to bed a bit late last night.
I taught 7 units of Berlitz lessons today: 9:00-9:45, 3:00-4:30, 5:30-7:00, and 7:00-8:30.
In the morning, I got a call from the Ikhilov Hospital and was able to schedule an appointment in oncology there for next Sunday at 11:20. That should give me enough time to get there. I then quickly walked down to the Maccabi office to try to start the process for the flight, but they closed at noon, and I was a minute late. It was a little hot to be walking uphill in the middle of the day, so I waited and took a bus back home. I'll go down to the Maccabi office tomorrow morning before the WIZO meeting.
I had a salad with added tomato, vegetarian chicken breasts, and trail mix for lunch at home today.
After my first afternoon class, I took a short walk over to the park and back. It was pretty warm, but by that time (nearly 5:00 p.m.), it was mostly shady. I managed to get a picture of a crow, today's pic of the day:
In the evening, I went up to sign some papers so that Me'ir's landlady can enter his apartment, clear things out, and then rent it to someone else. Me'ir is, in fact, in jail, though I don't know for exactly what. I actually talked with his neighbor, Ohad, on the same floor, who rents from the same landlady and had gotten the papers from her. It turns out that Ohad is a producer of trance music, so we had quite a nice chat (in English, although he's Israeli), and we're going to get together to exchange music ideas and experience.
I walked a total of 3.83 kilometers today.
