I woke up and got up early this morning and went for a wonderful, long morning walk. I took a number of pictures along the way, including today's pic of the day, the skyline of the Jordanian mountains just before the sun come up over them:

I taught 7 units of Berlitz lessons today (although the last one actually turned out to be a no-show): 10:00-11:30, 2:45-3:30, 4:00-5:30, and 7:00-8:30. The 4:00 lesson was my first time teaching from the new materials for levels 5 through 8 that Berlitz is just introducing. It went reasonably well, I think.

I had a big salad with several additions and "quesadillas" (cheese toasted in whole-wheat tortillas) for lunch at home today.

In the evening, I went over to take care of a friend's cats. I'm feeding them, giving them fresh water, and changing their boxes while she's gone for a long weekend.

I walked a total of 6.75 kilometers today.
