Of course I got up late this morning, having gotten to bed really late last night. But I was well-rested and had a great day.
In the morning, I played the harpsichord and piano for some time and spent even more going through a couple of books of songs I have, picking out ones I might work up a bit. One book is of favorite American songs through its history, and the other is of Israeli and Jewish favorites. Now I have many possibilities, and I'll work on many more than I'll actually need and decide later which ones, exactly, I will choose to play at WIZO. Perhaps I'll even play more than once, with different themes.
I had rice, 3 eggs, and some shakshuka mix, all cooked together, for a very delicious lunch at home today.
I went over to Isobel's house in the early evening to learn about feeding her cats, which I'll be doing for her while she's away next weekend. She has 1 indoor cat and a whole multi-generational bevy of outdoor cats that she's feeding. They're really cute. After we went through the procedure of feeding them, Isobel and I sat and chatted for a while, which was very enjoyable.
A little later, I walked down to Fay's house for our weekly play-reading get-together. We finished the play that we started last week and again had a very lovely time. On the walk down, I took several pictures of signs in Hebrew. One of them is today's pic of the day -- do you know what it says?
I walked a total of 3.76 kilometers today.
