I got to bed very late last night and slept well but got up late this morning.
The day generally got off to a pretty slow start, but I did finally get myself up to speed. I watched a long but very interesting YouTube video by a former Adventist ministry student, telling about his gradual process of becoming an atheist -- the various steps on his journey and his reasoning. After that, I did some work on my "Algorithms, Biology, and Programming" class.
After eating lunch at home, I walked up to the outdoor gym, worked out there briefly, and then took a fairly long walk north on Harim Road. I climbed up the hill near the pencils kikar and enjoyed the great view, then walked leisurely back home via Sheshset HaYamim Blvd.
I was supposed to talk to David's sister today, but she wasn't able to connect to get through to me. She's still in the hospital. Her husband called me from home to let me know what was happening. We'll try again tomorrow to talk.
In the evening, I took an even longer walk, going all the way to the south end of Sheshet HaYamim, then up the part of the Nakhal Garuf tayelet that it finished enough to be passable, then continuing up to the south end of Harim Road and walking back home on it. I rested several times.
I walked a total of 10.79 kilometers today.
