I slept well last night and got up quite late, feeling well-rested.
Today's WIZO meeting was special. A group of kids for the Harei Eilat school (the one very near where I used to live in Shakhamon) joined us. They came to sing for us and to practice their English conversation skills, and it really was very charming.
I also met a man whose wife just died last month and who joined us for the first time today at WIZO. We chatted for quite a bit, and he seems really nice. He and his wife made aliyah from London about 4 years ago.
I taught only 3 units of Berlitz lessons today: 2:45-3:30 and 5:00-6:30.
Between the 2 lessons, I walked over and sat for a bit in the park, enjoying the lovely day. After the last class, I walked up to the outdoor gym and worked out a while there, then continued walking over to the green strip in Shakhamon, where I sat and rested a little. Then I walked back via Sheshet HaYamim Blvd., resting a little more once again in Ganei Kanada before buying some ice cream, which I've been craving for some time recently, and heading home.
I walked a total of 10.16 kilometers today.
