I again slept well last night and got up quite early, as well.
I taught only 5 units of Berlitz lessons today: 9:00-10:30, 2:45-3:15, and 7:00-8:30 (talk about split shifts!).
Between about 11:00 and 2:00, I took a very leisurely walk around the southwestern part of town (mostly Shakhamon). I stopped to work out at the gym, and I also sat and enjoyed many beautiful shady places along the way. In some of them, I took pictures which I then immediately posted to Facebook. It was a warm day, so I wore short pants, a tank top, and sandals (without socks), and I tried to walk as much as possible in the shade. I was also in no particular hurry; my goal was more to bask in the lovely weather than to cover any particular distance or route.
I had a large salad with greens, a yellow bell pepper, and a tomato added and two veggie burger and cheese sandwiches for lunch at home.
In the afternoon, I took another much shorter and even more leisurely walk around the Mitzpe Yam neighborhood (just across the street from my place), including another short work-out at the gym. Again, I took a few pictures and soaked up the beautiful day.
I walked a total of 10.17 kilometers today.
