After breakfast but before work, I took out the trash and the recycling, and I walked up to the bakery and bought challah for Shabbat and oznei haman (hammentaschen -- "Haman's ears") for Purim.
I was scheduled to teach 3 units of Berlitz today, but they all turned out to be no-shows (which I do get paid for, thankfully): 9:00-9:45 and 10:00-11:30.
I got all my weekly chores done in the morning as well as some grocery shopping. I also talked to David in Tel Aviv for a while
I had a salad and beans and weenies for lunch.
I had a lazy afternoon and evening, watching sitcoms and playing games. At dusk, I lit candles, drank a little sweet red wine, and ate some challah to welcome Shabbat.
I had intended to go out for a walk in the evening, but when I went out, I discovered that it was raining!
