Wednesday, 8 March 2017

I had quite a bit of trouble getting to sleep last night, and so, naturally, I got up quite late this morning. Worse yet, I had a rather frustrating dream just before I woke up, so I had to recover a bit from that before actually getting up. After that, though, the day went just fine.

I taught 6 units of Berlitz lessons today: 9:30-11:00, 5:30-7:00, and 7:00-8:30.

After my morning lesson, I talked with David in Tel Aviv for a little while before eating my lunch (shnitzel, rice, and a salad).

After lunch, I walked down to the U-Suites hotel where my friends and former neighbors, Patricia and Shimon, are staying. Before meeting them, I took a couple of pictures, including today's pic of the day, the view from the hotel's lobby:

After visiting a while in their room, we walked over and caught the number 2 bus up to the top of Canada Gardens, with me doing a regular "tour guide" narration of the whole trip. Then we walked over to Nakhal Shakhamon, where I showed them the lovely views in both directions. Next, we walked down partway through Canada Gardens to my place, where we visited some more until it was time for me to help them catch a bus back down into town. I really enjoyed their visit!

I walked a total of 4.6 kilometers today.
