I just realized that I forgot to post here yesterday. I think I'm slipping. LOL
So I guess I'll start with a brief report on that first. I taught 7 units of Berlitz lessons yesterday: 9:30-11:45, 5:00-6:30, and 7:00-8:30. I took a walk around the big loop and walked a total of 6.3 kilometers.
I slept well last night and got up quite early this morning. After an early breakfast, I took out the trash and recycling and then walked up to the bakery and bought challah for Shabbat. While I was up that way, I picked up a couple of things at the market there that I need but which they usually don't carry at the Elimelech Market where I do most of my shopping.
I taught 6 units of Berlitz lessons today (my full availability for Fridays): 9:00-10:30, 10:30-12:00, and 12:00-1:30.
I had an Israeli salad (tomato and cucumber) and beans and weenies for lunch today.
After lunch, I did the rest of the weekly chores, took a nap in my chair, and went out for a short walk. While I was out, David in Tel Aviv called and we chatted for a while.
As the sun was about to disappear from our lovely warm valley, I lit candles, drank a little sweet red wine, and ate some challah to welcome another Shabbat.
Then I went out for another walk, crisscrossing Canada Gardens several times and then walking over on Harim Road and down Argaman. Along the way, I snapped a few pictures, including today's pic of the day, a lovely view of the mountains of Edom in the last light of the day, from HaKhotrim Street, not far from where I live:
I walked a total of 4.6 kilometers today.
