Shabbat, 4 March 2017

I had some difficulty getting to sleep last night and so woke up and got up late this morning. But I did feel very refreshed and had a good day.

After breakfast, I headed out for a walk around the big loop. I felt more energy than I have in quite some time and walked the whole way without even feeling any need to sit and rest, and I even arrived back home without feeling particularly tired. The weather was particularly pleasant today, with warm sun and a refreshing cool wind. I took several pictures, including today's pic of the day, an interesting bug sitting on the Nakhal Garuf Promenade:

A little later, I went over to my friend Linda's place. She had some information about an upcoming visit by U.S. embassy staff to Eilat, and we wanted to send it out to the WIZO mailing list, but she didn't know how to forward it to me. I figured it out, and then we just chatted for quite some time. It was very enjoyable.

I had my usual eggs and rice, plus a nice salad, for lunch today. As I prepared lunch, I had a nice phone conversation with David in Tel Aviv.

In the early evening, I talked with Joyce and her husband in Ohio.

Then I just relaxed and enjoyed sitcoms on TV for the rest of the evening.

I walked a total of 8.5 kilometers today.
