I got up quite late this morning but well-rested.
I had written in my calendar that my appointment with the cardiologist was at 10:15 but it was, in fact, at 9:15, which I only discovered when I arrived at Maccabi. As a result, I had to wait quite a while, of course, but it was my own fault. In any case, I got it to see him and it went well. He was glad that I was feeling well, that there had been no heart problems related to the surgeries, and that my EKG was normal. However, he was still concerned that the fibrillation could return at any time, so he prescribed a medicine for me (actually a beta blocker) that is intended to lessen that likelihood. He also ordered another halter test, which I arranged with the nurses for the 3rd of May (the earliest available -- it's NOT urgent, according to the doctor).
After getting my prescription filled, I walked home by a more circuitous route. I took a number of pictures during my walk this morning, including today's pic of the day, a flower with the sun directly behind it:
I had a salad and 2 shnitzels for lunch.
I taught 6 units of Berlitz lessons today: 2:30-4:00, 4:15-5:45, and 6:00-7:30.
Immediately after my last lesson, I was down to David's house (the one I'm working for in connection with the billionaire's vacation) and worked there with him until nearly midnight. He brought me home in his Toyota Camry hybrid.
I walked a total of 7.2 kilometers today.
