I got up leisurely this morning after a good night's sleep.
I was scheduled to teach 9 units of Berlitz lessons today, but one 2-unit lesson actually turned out to be a no-show: 9:30-11:45, 3:00-4:30, 5:00-6:30 (the no-show, so I was able to leave at 6:00), and 7:00-8:30.
After my morning class, I went for a walk around the big loop. I took several pictures, including today's pic of the day, a nice view up Nakhal Shakhamon in the middle of the day:
Before returning home, I stopped and ate 2 slices of pizza at the pizza place in the Einat Center (not far from my place). It's relatively new there, but I hadn't yet tried it.
I'm going to be doing a new job for the next 6 weeks or so. It involves helping an Eilati Israeli guy with communicating in English for a project he is doing. It will culminate with a trip to a hotel on the Jordanian side of the Dead Sea, where he will be doing all of the arrangement for the visit there of some very wealthy Russian. I will continue teaching my Berlitz lessons (until we go to Jordan), but I will probably be doing most of them from his home office. I got this work thanks to a recommendation from a friend who has done similar work for him in the past.
I walked a total of 6 kilometers today.
