Then I set out walking downtown to Maccabi for my weekly blood draw and an EKG before my appointment with the cardiologist tomorrow. When I finished there, I walked over to Maccabi in Shakhamon for my appointment with my family doctor there. Finally, I walked home. I took quite a few pictures along the way, mostly of flowers. But, as I was heading home, the overcast was really breaking up into clouds that were moving, so the lighting up Nakhal Shakhamon was constantly changing, as illustrated in today's 3 pics of the day, all taken within a few minutes of each other from slightly differing angles:
When I got home, I mostly relaxed and watched sitcoms on TV. I also ate a salad and quesadillas for lunch.
At about 2:00 p.m., I walked back into town to get prescriptions filled and to get a mouse for Goldfinger. I was quite tired by then, so I took a bus back home and relaxed until evening.
In the evening, I went to our play-reading group. This week we finished reading "The Little Foxes", which we all enjoyed quite a bit.
I walked a total of 11 kilometers today.
