I got to bed early last night, slept very well, and got up early this morning.
After breakfast, I set out on a long walk. I started by going on the big loop in the opposite direction, but instead of walking up Argaman to close the loop, I continued all the way to the point where Sheshet HaYamim Avenue and Harim Road meet (the kikar by the giant pencil cup). Then I walked on Harim Road back to Argaman and down it to my place. For part of the walk, I talked on the phone with David in Tel Aviv, which was very enjoyable.
During my walk, I took today's pic of the day from the Sheshet HaYamim bridge over Nakhal Shakhamon. On the left, you can see Har Shlomo (Mt. Solomon) with "Little White Mountain" (my name for it) in front of it, and on the right, you can see White Mountain:
Most of the rest of the day, I just relaxed. I had my usual rice and eggs (plus a tomato/cucumber salad) for lunch, and I talked with Joyce in Ohio in the late afternoon.
I walked a total of 8.1 kilometers today.
